Everest Poker Leaderboard Explained:

Everest Poker’s Tournament Leaderboards are broken down into 3 groups: Sit & Go High, Sit & Go Low and Multi Table. The two SNG leaderboard pay out the top 10, both weekly and monthly, where the Multi Table TLB pays out only on a monthly basis. Unlike at other online poker rooms, players will limit bankrolls, and much skill, have a fair chance at winning on of these races. This is because both a low limit TLB is offered and because the method which points are earned does not put as strong of an emphasis on buy-in amount as other TLBs.

Players can earn leaderboard points in Sit & Go and Multi-table tournaments (Freerolls, Private, Free Chip Play, Summit Point Prize tournamets do not count); however, Players who enter tournaments using Tokens or Summit Points into real money tournaments are eligible to earn TLB Points.

The points formula is: TLB Points = 9 * (SQRT(# players)/SQRT(finishing place)) * SQRT(SQRT(pot contribution)). Don’t worry if this sounds Aramaic to you, players do not need need to understand the formula to earn points. To put it simply, the more tournaments you enter the better chance there is you’ll earn points. Also, there is a TLB Points calculator available on the Everest Poker website which can do the math for you.

Multi-Table Leaderboard - Has a monthly reward for winners. Includes all scheduled tournaments and Sit & Go tournaments with greater than 30 player fields. Only a player’s top 50 point earnings are considered for the monthly standings.

Sit & Go High – This leaderboard rewards winners weekly and monthly. This is for Sit & Go tournaments with buy-ins over $10 and with less than 30 players. The weekly leaderboard uses players top 20 point earnings where the monthly TLB considers only a players top 50 point finishes.

Sit & Go Low – Also pays out weekly and monthly to winners and is based on SNGs with 30 or less players and a buy-ins under $10. The weekly leaderboard uses players top 20 point earnings where the monthly TLB considers only a players top 50 point finishes.

Tournament Leaderboard Payouts:

The top 10 finishers in each tournament are paid out in Summit Points. These are loyalty points which can be used to enter real money tournaments (A $0.004 per point value when redeemed for tournaments redemption), redeemed for high value merchandise in the upcoming Everest Poker Summit Points Store, or can be used on the Summit Points tables to compete against other players with Summit Points being the stake.
